What People Are Saying
“This was my first laughter session. I had heard from the others in the group how good it was, so I came. I really feel the benefits. Typically I would need to wear my oxygen, I feel like I’ve had a deep breath. I didn’t need it. It was fun. Laughter is great!”
Sheila Wick, Patient at Mercy San Juan, Carmichael CA
“I just witnessed the laughter program and I had some reservation about how the patients would respond to it. It was very fun seeing them interact in a way that they wouldn’t normally. It was a pleasurable experience. Highly recommended!”
Laurel Olslund, Co-Director of Pulmonary Rehab at Alta Bates in Berkeley, CA
“Well the thing that I’m feeling is that, we’ve all got emphysema and this helps us to forget that we have it, and it relaxes us and to have a good time. That’s what you really taught us, is to have a good time and exercise. So I really thank you. Thank you very much for that.”
Leonard Wellings, Patient at Mercy San Juan, Carmichael CA
